WISCOMP initiative of the Foundation organized an international webinar on August 26, 2020 to mark the culmination of the phase II of its work on gender equity in higher education campuses as part of the HAMSA Campus Equity Program.
This Program seeks to facilitate processes for the institutionalization of gender-just norms and practices at higher education institutions in India and draws on the experience of American universities. The program is supported by the Public Affairs Section, U.S. Embassy, New Delhi.
Several senior academics, heads of institutions and administrators from American and Indian universities and eminent academic institutes, including University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, Ambedkar University, University of Pittsburgh, the Library of Congress, Miranda House, Indraprastha College for Women among others participated and spoke at the webinar. The webinar reach was over 7000 individuals.
