Through riveting photographs and the author’s personal experiences, the book opens a window into the everyday lives, Buddhist practices and seasonal festivals of the spiritual community. It carries a foreword by His Holiness.

Under the Blue Skies

Under the Blue Skies: A Tibetan Reader is an anthology of Tibetan literature in English, with contributions from His Holiness and 30 Tibetan writers. The book was launched, followed by a discussion, in September 2022. The conversation comprised an insightful dialogue between the editor Bhuchung D. Sonam, author-contributor Tenzin Tsundue and eminent discussants from journalism, political science and academia.

The launch of His Holiness The Fourteenth Dalai Lama: An Illustrated Biography presented global audiences with a rare opportunity to witness the rich conversation between three of His Holiness’ most trusted companions – Tenzin Geyche Tethong, His Holiness’s former Secretary & author of the book; Tenzin Choegyal, the younger brother of His Holiness; and Rajiv Mehrotra, a student of His Holiness for 40 years. His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 100 Anecdotes highlights His Holiness’ awe-inspiring life and his constant efforts towards fostering global harmony, painting a vivid picture of the leader in 100 anecdotes and fifty evocative illustrations. The discussion between authors Arthy Singh and Mamta Nainy, and Rajiv Mehrotra, who penned the foreword to the book, illuminated the life and teachings of the Dalai Lama, who is regarded by many as a manifestation of Buddha, even as he describes himself as ‘a simple monk’.

The Foundation’s book launch for Parenting in the Age of Anxiety facilitated conversation between author  Abha Adams, an innovative educationist and former Director of the Shri Ram Schools, Dr. Shelja Sen, a Narrative Therapist, and Mr. Rajiv Mehrotra to discuss insights into the contemporary issues challenging parents and children.
