Manifesting His Holiness’ vision of promoting Tibet’s civilisational heritage, the Foundation launched an educational series on Tibetan arts and culture in January 2022. The featured guests are eminent experts, imparting critical insights into their field.
The Foundation’s grant supported playwright Abhishek Majumdar’s play ‘Pah-la’, which received global attention with its performance at London’s Royal Court Theatre, and recently inspired an adaptation in Tibetan with a Tibetan cast. Opened at Dharamsala’s Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) in October 2022, the play takes the story of the Tibetan struggle across India, informing a new generation of Indians and Tibetans about Tibet.
