VENUE: Open Palm Court, India Habitat Center, New Delhi

The Foundation organized five-day painting exhibition, “The Quest”, from March 15, 2018, at the Open Palm Court, India Habitat Center, from 10 am- 8 pm. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Alka Pande, a renowned art historian and art consultant of the Visual Art Gallery, India Habitat Centre on 1st March, 2018 at 6 pm. Also over 30 art lovers attended the opening.

 The paintings for this exhibition are an individual’s perspective on civilization and the sources of human consciousness. Created over the past 10 years by Mr. Karma Sichoe which symbolize inner search. In his words these paintings are an attempt “to control his own Karma”

Karma Sichoe is a Tibetan thangka painting master and contemporary artist. He has for years focused on preserving classical Tibetan painting traditions by passing down his knowledge to dedicated students and encouraging his community to explore contemporary self-reflective art.
