Cultivating Compassion and Peace (March 19-20, 2015)
The Foundation in collaboration with the PeaceJam Foundation, co-organizes “Cultivating Compassion and Peace”, a workshop for senior school students and teachers to engage with different Nobel laureates. PeaceJam is an international education program that inspires young people to be compassionate change-makers through the guidance and wisdom of 13 Nobel laureates who work personally with the youth to change the world.
Transformative Teachers (Jan. 22 & 23, 2015)
This workshop was organized in collaboration with the Dalai Lama Center for Ethics and Transformative values, MIT, USA. Meant for teachers and educators, the workshop sought to; explore the influence of core values and vision on teaching practice and on leadership development for students; introduce and demonstrate activities for cultivating empathy, self-awareness, emotional understanding and clarity of values inside and outside the classroom; establish a growing community of teachers committed to the development of resilient and ethical young leaders and develop a plan for sustained activities at the participants’ respective schools.
Career and Admission Guidance (2010-2012)
For three years from 2010 to 2012, the Foundation collaborated with the Envision organization to organize workshops on career and admission guidance for the young Tibetan students.
