Foundation’s Interfaith Dialogue and Pilgrimage programme seeks to provide space for young participants to embrace religious diversity, build cross-cultural understanding and encourage spiritual growth through first-hand exploration of different faith traditions. The journey starts from Bengaluru and moves on to Mysuru, Shravanbelagola, and Bylakuppe. The period of three weeks is dedicated to lectures and discussions on each faith and attending prayers and rituals. Interactive sessions are conducted in collaboration with respective centers of faith along with a guided tour of the places of worship.
This year, the programme was held from June 21 to July 7. The experience was enriched by the participation of 18 young adults amongst whom one was from Vietnam, another from Nepal and the rest from six different states across India. The participants represented 16 different organizations. The Foundation partnered with more than a dozen centers and individuals who helped in making this journey truly meaningful and engaging for all the participants.
