May 21-June 13, Dharamsala: Foundation’s annual Gurukul Programme seeks to bring together the two communities of guru (teacher) and chela(student), and revive the centuries-old relationship of exchange of ideas between Indians and Tibetans.

This year​, there were ​28 participants from 20 different colleges and 15 different states including one from Vietnam. The participants spent 24 days in Dharamsala and were given exposure to the Tibetan culture, religion, history, politics and music and arts.

Besides, they had an audience with HH the Dalai Lama and also attended three-days teachings by His Holiness. The programme concluded with a two-day workshop on “Secular Ethics or Social, Emotional and Ethical Learning” and sharing their experiences and learning.
