Monthly Film Series at the India International Center (Ongoing)

In partnership with the India International Center, New Delhi, the Foundation holds a monthly series to screens a diversity of films from all corners of the world. Curated by Rajiv Mehrotra they cover the following themes:

  • Films of The Spirit (2018-Ongoing)
  • The Creeds of Our Times (2016-2018)
  • The Other Dimension (2015-2016)
  • Spirituality and Faith (2008-2015)


Tibetan Film Festivals

The Tibetan Film Festival has been running since 2007 and displays the best of Tibetan and international cinema on Tibet and Tibetans in India and abroad. The festival has been organized at Delhi, Toronto, Taiwan, Dublin, New York, Mexico and Poland.

These Festivals have showcased award-winning films such as Kundun, 10 Questions for the Dalai Lama, Sacred Sites of the Dalai Lama, Himalaya, and Spirit of Tibet.

Spiritual Film Festivals

The Foundation holds a Spiritual Film Festival at the Choe Khor Sum Ling, Bangalore, coinciding with one of the Foundation’s flagship programmes, Interfaith Dialogue and Pilgrimage. This began in 2001.

Monthly Film Series at the India Habitat Center (2014)

The Foundation, in collaboration with the India Habitat Center, held a monthly Film Series curated by Rajiv Mehrotra at the Gulmohar Hall, India Habitat Center.


Tibetan Travelling Film Festival (2009/2010)

Tibetan Travelling Film Festival was organized for two consecutive years. Film Festivals were held around India and abroad and drew enthusiastic audiences.


Transcending Conflict (2002)

The Foundation partnered with ‘The Coexistence Initiative’, New York, to hold an international film festival titled Transcending Conflict that showcased examples of coexistence and peace building in practice. It was curated as a part of WISCOMP’s Conflict Transformation Workshop, in New Delhi from June 2 to 8, 2002.
